Well you've obviously been snowed in so what's a girl to do?
It's cold outside!!!
Mandy stole my line LOL
I did a double take there... I know it is winter in Australia but snow?
Faffing... An under-utilised word and an under-utilised pastime. Well done!
Brrr! You spent the day very wisely.
Winter Wonderland, great photos! I hope your heating is working well, just can't seem to get enough warmth from the wood heater today.
I have been reliably informed by my other half that the key to getting heat out of the wood burner is to fill it. And I have to admit, he was right. :)
I love to drink tea and I like to faff and, sometimes, I don't even wait for it to snow.
ditto - did a double take cos you have snow. I don't expect you to have snow somehow!Gold Medal in tea and faffing is the only sort worth having.
Come to the warm side … i.e. WACongratulations on the PB.
I'm sure you could do better, after all the time you must have wasted getting dressed and going outside (you did get dressed??) maybe that's why you didn't make it over here to represent your country at the Commonwealth Games. I'm only county standard myself! Although I'm a pretty good sofa surfer. Oh well, four years training till the next one :0)
how exciting.............looks so pretty...............
Was high excitement at school!
Goodness! When was the last time it snowed there? Any records broken?
I don't remember you ever posting snow -- have you? Hope you're having fun. But. Six Weeks and it's gone. (As my mother would say when she's issuing an ultimatum LOL!)
Ha, ha, it tried to snow in Adelaide, but really it was just hail. Glad you got to see the real deal. Cannot believe you were not out there in the nasty weather doing a photo shoot for polar bears though - ha ha!!!
Yesterday was an excellent day for faffing and tea drinking. What did Flynn the wonder puppy make of all that funny white stuff? Vikki the cat thought it was very strange rain. She wasn't bothered at all, just a bit bewildered. It would appear though that this is not a rare phenomenon in Ballarat. I know that it snowed heavily enough that the photos my son sent from work were "Guess What Car This Is". He was working at Holden at the time. That was seven years ago. And I know there have been snow events since then. Yesterdays must have been the heaviest and most widespread for quite a few years. It was lovely, but it was very chilly. I would not have wanted to have had to work in it at all.
